I’m there, and I know how to make it happen! I’ve been fortunate to have many experiences in order to provide my knowledge in each of these places and more. Not only that, but having friends from all over the world who are wedding vendors to help pitch in and make your day incredible with me, including my assistant, Anna, who is a world-traveler and from New Zealand. If you’re here reading this, I already know you're looking for an elopement or micro wedding that pushes all the norms aside and focuses on your love for each other. Our world offers so many beautiful places and it can be hard to pick where — that’s why I’m here! I do all of the research, from helping you decide where to go and what permits might be required, to connecting you with incredible local vendors and dreamy accommodations. You absolutely don’t have to have it all figured out. Looking to do something bigger? I accept THREE large weddings per year, ask me more about how!
beside a whimsical waterfall in Washington, on top of a glacier in Alaska, a dreamy forest in California, or a moody beach in Oregon?
I want you to feel empowered. When you book an elopement or micro wedding with me, you get more than what you think. My role is to create an experience for you, something to brag about. I don’t just come along for the ride, I’m here to support you from the moment we begin and even after. Because I believe that going against the grain and following your own adventurous heart is a beautiful thing that should be celebrated. When you trust in me to help you plan your day, I take pride in making sure every box is ticked, every desire is met, and that all you have to do is show up!
With me, you’re not just hiring a photographer, you’re hiring an entire experience.
10 to 12 hours of coverage gives you an immersive experience, unlike anything you’ve ever imagined. It may seem like a long day, I mean, what all can we do with that much time? But that’s exactly where I come in — your planner, guidance, travel agent, coordinator, I do it all.
People who book this package usually split it into two or three days, and yes, you can absolutely have guests involved! Most couples who book this package use the first day for themselves by getting ready together, first look, their vow readings/ceremony (which can involve guests), and a full day of adventure to a few locations. The second day is saved for your guests filled with a cocktail hour, family images, candids of everyone having a good time, or, if it’s just you two, another full day of adventure. We usually split the hours in half (5/5 or 6/6), but you can also get creative and do a short day then a long day or vice versa. The possibilities to curate your perfect elopement or micro wedding are endless and I’m here to help you make all of the decisions!

My 6 hour package is for those who want the grand adventure but also the downtime that comes with it — a little less involved, but packs a big punch experience. Most people who use this package opt for the getting ready images or reception images and focus on the main event. A camera isn’t with you the whole day, but still captures the most important pieces that you will never want to forget.

“Our experience with Krista was nothing short of incredible! She is totally game for whatever ideas you have which includes walking through rivers with us to get the perfect shot!"
I know it can be nerve-wracking to meet a stranger over a video call, almost like an interview, but it is so important to make sure you and your photographer vibe at the very first step. This is where you can ask all of the questions, and this is where I explain how your day or days can look. I go over real timelines that I’ve used before as examples, we go over everything included in your package of choice, and I paint a portrait of what your day can look like since no two elopements or weddings are the same! Everything is curated and researched to be uniquely you and I want to tell your story.
I want your day to be the best it can be — one you can giddily look forward to and fondly look back on with the utmost and greatest joy. I’m not your temporary third-wheel bff like every other website you read, nah, I’m here for the long haul and to support you beyond your elopement or wedding day. Because I believe lasting connections create a better world for art to thrive in and that’s exactly what we want. In addition to capturing your elopement, wedding, or engagement, I help plan and guide the whole entire day alongside you — making it as easy, enjoyable, and stress-free as possible. I want you to show up to your own event curated specially to you without laying a finger on any of the hard stuff!
Creating connections with all of my couples is extremely important to me. Not only will this help ease as awkwardness, nerves, or hesitations you may have in front of a camera, but this is your time to add a bonus adventure on the side. It can be 1 hour, or 12! (Really, I've had numerous 12 hour engagement sessions!) If you’re eloping in Alaska, but dream of having photos in the desert of Arizona, we can do that with your engagement photos! I’ve had people meet me on their vacations, road trips, etc. just to have variety. We’ll get to know each other that much more too before the big one.
So what are the first steps in getting this whole booking-your-photographer going?
